Belgrave Hall Museum & Gardens

Belgrave Hall and Gardens

Victorian elegance in the heart of Leicester

Although built between 1709-1713 during the reign of Queen Anne, the Hall is displayed to reflect the 1880's, when wealthy industrialist John Ellis (responsible for bringing the railway to Leicester) and his family lived here. Despite its urban location, Belgrave Hall is surrounded by two acres of walled gardens, unchanged since the 1850s.
